Stimulate This!
As the Media Pundits debate on if the Government should issue another stimulus package, I wonder where and why they are not asking the Private Sector where their Stimulus Package is? Given that the so-called experts say that is where all the jobs will be created and all the profits are to be made one would think that the Elite on both sides of the political spectrum would find it better for them to dictate the pace of change inside of having the Elders and Powers-that-Be once again step in and tell them what the future will look like. Or is the Summit of the Billionaires in Utah just another feel good party of those citizens who think they are wealthy. For why the Stock Market remains at 8,000 with no good hope at reaching the all time high of 14,000 any year soon I wonder how many corporations are going to keep their stock holders if the only business in town hiring is the Federal Government.
For I would love to hear how Commerce and Industry are going to survive if they do not have the infrastructure to move their goods and services in the 21st Century or meet the Bling-Bling of the 21st Consumer as they look for more and more ways to cut down on their expenses. Yes, putting money into the Consumers’ hands when they have no confident in “We the Corporation” to bring to market the innovations needed to help build a better world would lead to the banks having more money through savings if history can be trusted. And why I will not say that is a bad idea in and of itself, having grown up challenging the Powers-that-Be of the 70’s I do believe that the Lone Voices lost in the Wilderness can and should hold the Private Sector accountable to the same Principles and Standards as their Elected Officials for coming up with a spending plan that will help every American have the opportunity to become economically viable and financially independent.
So stimulate this My Democratic and Republican Parties. With less than 25% of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act spent and lacking the guidelines to rebuild the Federal Infrastructure where are the plans of the Major Players on Wall Street to get back on their feet. For limited to My Personal Opinion, I ask My Brothers and Sisters of the 70’s if “We the People” should create another Corporate Welfare Program or follow our ancestors of the 1990’s and force Washington to create a Job Welfare System for Private Sector designed to move America toward Energy Independence and the Blessings of Prosperity that it will bring.
